Fourth Lotto Win of 2022
The Irish Lotto jackpot had grown to €8.5 million following 15 draws without a winner, but on Saturday 7th May one lucky player did match the numbers 1, 31, 35, 39, 42 and 46.
The winning ticket was sold in Kilkenny, and players from the Marble County have now been urged to check their entries so they can come forward to collect the prize.
It is the fourth Lotto jackpot to have been given away this year, following wins by players in Mayo, Meath and Dublin. It is also the second-biggest of 2022, following the record €19 million that went to a Castlebar family in January.
EuroMillions Record Beckons
There have now been 18 new millionaires created by the Irish lottery this year, but the next one could be the largest of the lot if someone from the country can win the current EuroMillions jackpot.
EuroMillions has hit €215 million, the second-biggest jackpot of all time, following a rapid rise over the past few weeks. It could go on to reach its cap of €230 million.
A family from The Naul in Co Dublin claimed the largest EuroMillions prize seen in Ireland to date. They won €175 million in February 2019.
You can view the EuroMillions Results as soon as they are available every Tuesday and Friday night.
