Happy Halloween From the Irish Lottery
This Halloween week has been full of shocks and surprises for players of the Irish Lottery, with two spooktastic draws generating two very different results! First up was the special draw on Saturday 27th October 2012, which as well as being an eight times rollover, had an extra €1 million added to the prize fund to celebrate the scariest draw of the year. This meant players were competing for a whopping €7.3 million jackpot, which was the largest jackpot seen on the Irish Lottery since the end of August. Then of course there was last night's midweek draw. To find out what happened, read on!

As you probably will know by now, this jackpot was won by one very lucky player from the South East, so if you are from the South East and played the Irish Lottery this weekend, check your tickets now and see if you matched all six spooky numbers! Meanwhile, this meant that the jackpot for the draw last night, Wednesday 31st October 2012 was a brand new €2 million.
The results of this draw couldn’t be more different to the draw on Saturday. Not only were there no jackpot winners found, there were no players to match five and the Bonus Ball to win €25,000. Plus, there were only 19 players to match five numbers to win €2,560. This surely shows that the luck of the Irish was with weekend players, as not only was there a jackpot winner, but there were 2 match five and the Bonus winners, who both won €25,000, as well as there being a staggering 48 players who matched five to win €1,831. This means there is a rollover jackpot of €2.5 million up for grabs for the draw this Bonfire Night – so players, get your tickets ready now, and let’s see if you will be lighting up the sky with joy this weekend.
