Irish Lotto Results for Wednesday 9th December 2015
Irish Lotto last night notched up its seventh rollover since a syndicate of factory workers scooped €3.8 million on Saturday 14th November, meaning that next Saturday’s jackpot will be heading towards €5.5 million. Despite no one picking up the main prize, there were more than 29,000 winners in the main Irish Lotto game.

The Irish Lotto results were 1, 4, 12, 31, 37 and 39 with Bonus Ball 18 and prizes on the night ranged from a €3 scratchcard for matching two main numbers and the Bonus Ball to €1,868 for the 15 players who matched five main numbers. A ticket holder scooped €2,500 for matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball on Lotto Plus 2. You can find the full prize breakdown and results for Irish Lotto, Lotto Plus 1, Lotto Plus 2 and the Lotto Plus Raffle at the Results page.
The main Irish Lotto jackpot may still be rolling, but the top Lotto Plus 1 prize was won as recently as last Saturday, when a syndicate of ten workers at Mafic in Kells, Co Meath pocketed €500,000. The group played a €60 entry in the draw, using the same numbers they have kept faith with for nearly two years, and member Deirdre Gingles was the first to realise their good fortune when she received an email from the lottery on Sunday morning.
Deirdre kept the good news secret until they met again for that night’s shift, with the win coming as a relief for two members of the group who had both nearly left the syndicate in recent weeks but had chosen to stay on. They are now both €50,000 better off for that decision!
For a crack at any of the prizes on offer this Saturday, you can buy Irish Lotto tickets online or from authorised retailers across Ireland. See the Tickets section for all the information you need to know about grabbing your entries for this fun lottery game.
