Eight-Figure EuroMillions Jackpot Up For Grabs
The estimated EuroMillions jackpot currently stands at €17 million, reset after a mammoth €138.7 million jackpot was claimed by a UK ticket holder in the draw on Tuesday 24th April. The winner has chosen to remain anonymous instead of going public, and further details about the now multi-millionaire are yet to be revealed.
EuroMillions players from Ireland, as well as the eight other participating countries, can enter online or offline by picking five main numbers between 1 and 50 and two Lucky Stars from a pool of 1 to 12. Prizes start from matching just two main numbers, and with 13 different prize tiers available, your overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 13.
There have been a total of 49,774,947 winners since Ireland joined EuroMillions, 12 of those jackpot winners. There’s still time to join a syndicate for your chance to become the country’s 13th EuroMillions jackpot winner. Find out on the How to Play EuroMillions page what the advantages are of entering an online syndicate, and how they can boost your chances of winning.
Follow in the Footsteps of the Crosshaven Irish Lotto Jackpot Winner
The Irish Lotto jackpot on Saturday 28th April is worth an estimated €6.5 million, having rolled over for the previous nine draws. The jackpot was last won on Saturday 24th March when a single ticket holder from Cork landed €5.6 million. The winning ticket was bought from Bernard Lynch’s Centra in the small village of Crosshaven, and the jackpot has been rolling over ever since then.
Players can enter Irish Lotto for €2 per line from authorised retailers throughout Ireland, and numbers can also be picked online from anywhere in the world. 44, 6 and 43 are the three most overdue numbers, while 2, 38 and 12 are currently the three most common numbers. There are eight different prize tiers available to ticket holders, with prizes starting from matching just two main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
