When Will Cavan’s €6.4 Million Irish Lotto Winner Come Forward?
The hunt is on for the Irish Lotto player who won a jackpot of €6.4 million in the draw on Wednesday 5th July. The ticket was bought at Argue’s Londis Service Station, Cootehill, just outside Drumaveil, in Co.Cavan.

The numbers drawn on 5th July were 7, 16, 18, 20, 24 and 37 with Bonus Ball 13. Over 36,000 ticket holders picked up prizes in the draw, but the lucky participant who matched all six main numbers has yet to come forward to claim their prize.
The owner of the store which sold the winning ticket, Jim Argue, revealed straight after the draw had taken place that everyone in town was eagerly waiting to find out more about the winner, speculating that ‘it could be anyone’ as there is so much passing trade at the Londis Service Station.
As Irish Lotto prizes must be claimed within 90 days of the draw taking place, there is still plenty of time before the jackpot winner has to come forward on 3rd October, but players who bought their tickets in Co. Cavan for the draw on 5th July have been urged to check their tickets.
A large number of Irish National Lottery prizes go unclaimed each year as too many players do not come forward in time to beat the deadline. Visit the Unclaimed Prizes page to find out the big prizes which are currently waiting to be claimed.
If you want to win a prize in Saturday’s Irish Lotto draw, you will have to buy a ticket from an authorised retailer or choose your numbers online. The jackpot is up to €7 million following a run of ten rollovers. Good luck!
